Meet Your Therapist

I'm Rick Kilmer, Certified Massage Therapist and founder of RefreshMode Massage & Bodywork.

I enjoy helping people, but healthcare wasn't my first career path. I came to bodywork with a background in design, business, and client-focused roles that taught me the value of attention to detail, active listening, and meeting people where they are.

That path ultimately led me to the Somatherapy Institute in Rancho Mirage, where I built a broad foundation in therapeutic techniques and discovered the fulfillment of helping clients relax, restore, and reconnect.

Outside of massage, I enjoy painting, music, and exploring the desert. I believe healing begins when we slow down, breathe deeply, and allow ourselves to be fully present.
